5 C's


 1)Camera Angles

Longshot-This is used to show a realistic view of usually a person. The top of the screen will usually have the top of the person and the bottom of the screen will have the persons feet.










Medium shot-This contains figure from the knees/waist up and is normally used for dialogue scenes

















2)Close upThis shot shows very little background and focuses on a face or a specific object. The shot is used to show the importance of the person/object


3) Continuity Genrally refers to a visual error. In very basic terms, it means having a character in a red top one second and a blue top the next.

4)Cutting (editing)This is an editing technique usually used in films to establish action occurring at the same time in two different locations. This tecnique also adds suspense and makes viewers think of the contrasting shots.

5)Composition This is the placement or arrangement of visual elements. The term 'composition' means putting together.
