5 C's

 1)Camera Angles

Longshot-This is used to show a realistic view of usually a person. The top of the screen will usually have the top of the person and the bottom of the screen will have the persons feet.

Medium shot-This contains figure from the knees/waist up and is normally used for dialogue scenes

2)Close upThis shot shows very little background and focuses on a face or a specific object. The shot is used to show the importance of the person/object

3) Continuity Genrally refers to a visual error. In very basic terms, it means having a character in a red top one second and a blue top the next.

4)Cutting (editing)This is an editing technique usually used in films to establish action occurring at the same time in two different locations. This tecnique also adds suspense and makes viewers think of the contrasting shots.

5)Composition This is the placement or arrangement of visual elements. The term 'composition' means putting together.

A bita info...

Hiii my names Lucyann. I've already used blogger before but ditched it for tumblr. I had originally chose to study media at QE college but decided to come back to Lutterworth. I have a interest in media and would love to study it at a further level and hopefully have a career in it in the future.

I don't often watch TV and spend most of my time on the computer.I occasionally watch programmes such as Inbetweeners though I haven't got round to actually watching the new season of Inbetweeners yet. I also like watching music awards and recently saw the VMA's (Video Music Awards) My favourtite music artist is Lady GaGa-she won 8 awards there. I've seen her perform twice live-once at V festival 2009 and then again at her monsterball tour in May. Other music events I have been to are V festival this year and The feeling. I mainly like to read fashion and music magazines such as Q or Elle.
